Another week to enjoy winter

We started off the week with a blanket of fresh snow and some enthusiastic skiers that made their own trails through the school yard! I saw children push themselves and persevere even when the going was tough and in the end, it was fabulous!

Now, on this cold weekend here's a reminder of the math homework.

1) Trouvez un reçu mais ne regardez pas le total
2) Calculez le coût de l'achat.
3) Écrivez votre stratégie d'addition et écrivez le nombre du total en mots. (n'oubliez pas le mot- centième)

Ski de fond

The students have watched Olympic cross country skiing, they know how much I love the sport and now they have had their own adventure giving it a try! We had fantastic weather on Monday morning and it was a very successful event! I noticed an improvement in the short time we were outside! I was also very pleased that the students had so much fun!

Valentine's Day

Friday is Valentine's Day and you are welcome to bring in Valentines to distribute to the class. If you wish to do so, please bring a Valentine for each member of our class. We will pass them out at the end of the day. I will provide a small snack for the students at this time.
